On November 24th, for the third time, the Department of English Studies at the University of Rzeszów participated in the nationwide event called "Noc Anglistów", in which 17 universities across the country took part. In Rzeszów, students from high schools in the Podkarpackie region, older grades of primary schools, and all interested individuals had the opportunity to participate in a lecture, workshops, and competitions conducted by the staff of the Department of English Studies, as well as members of the Academic Circle of English Studies.

The team from the IV High School in Rzeszów emerged as the winners of the translation competition for the best translation of excerpts from the works of American writer Francis Scott Fitzgerald. In the competition, where participants were tasked with developing and presenting to a panel of experts an innovative product, the team from the III High School in Rzeszów proved to be the best. Congratulations!

The culmination of the Night of English Studies within the walls of the University of Rzeszów was a fragment of a theatrical performance titled "Tragic History of Doctor Faustus" by the theatrical group The Chamber Fellows, operating within the Academic Circle of English Studies.

Both stationary events and lectures presented on the YouTube platform are a tradition of both the nationwide and Rzeszów Night of English Studies. The lectures, which premiered in the evening hours of November 24th, are still available at the following link: www.nocanglistow.pl/online.
